The Lee Group is currently hiring experienced warehouse associates to work at a large distribution center in Sandston, Virginia (just outside of Richmond) for first, second and third shifts. This is a “temporary to permanent” position with a minimum of 40 hours per week. There will be times that overtime will be mandatory (never more than 10 hour days). All qualified applicants will have a clean background check for seven years and must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Forklift experience is preferred, but we will train the right person!
First shift hours are from 7 am until 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Second shift hours are from 3 pm until 11:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Third shift hours are from 11pm until 7:30am, Sunday through Thursday.
Please note, shift hours cannot be modified nor can you change shifts once starting.
Responsibilities and duties include:
-Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
-Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
-Must have the ability to multitask and meet production requirements.
-Must have good verbal and written communication skills
-Excellent attendance is crucial.
-Must be able to work overtime as needed
-Candidate must have a positive attitude and be able to get along with co-workers, leads, supervisors, and management staff.
Qualifications and skills of a successful applicant include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months experience in a warehouse environment. Previous forklift experience is preferred.
