The Lee Group’s staffing and recruitment team in Newport News, Virginia is now hiring for a call center associates to work on the Virginia Peninsula. All shifts are available and the pay rate ranges from $11 to $12 per hour.
Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
-Talk to customers over the phone, email, online chat or social media to resolve their questions or concerns
-Maintain and update customer information as necessary
-Calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues
-Escalate calls to supervisor when necessary and appropriate
-Respond to requests for assistance and/or possible processing of credit card authorizations
-Track call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes
-Provide feedback reports on call issues related to downtime and/or training issues
-Upsell to customers as necessary.
Successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED. A college degree is preferred.
Customer service experience a plus! Phone-related customer service and bilingual language a major plus!
Applicants should have familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel applications.
Please note this position requires constant sedentary work. You’ll typically be sitting for most of the time and are encouraged to get up and stretch once in a while – enter the dance offs mentioned above!
