The Lee Group’s staffing and recruitment team in Richmond, Virginia is currently hiring for a part-time Business Office Manager to work roughly five hours per day, Monday through Friday.
This position will report to the Operations Manager of the company and be responsible for, under little supervision, managing back office functions of a small business in environmental services.
The Business Office Manager also supports administrative functions to sustain and grow business, keeps financial and business operation records while developing and implementing sustained practices to improve efficiency of overall business aspects of the company.
Essential functions of the job include reviewing daily invoices to ensure proper record of incoming and outgoing product, recording financial transactions of day to day operations, understanding and supporting procedures for maintaining efficient office functions, prioritizing work to ensure completion, working closely with administrative clerk to ensure all data is properly recorded, and compiling and reviewing month end operational reports for accuracy which include financial and physical volume.
Successful candidates will have a knowledge and understanding of business and financial operations, be knowledgeable and proficient with Microsoft Office, Quick Books, and preferably scale software, have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and be able to problem solve.
High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
Scale software experience strongly preferred.
Minimum 10 years previous experience in business or financial management.
