POSITION SUMMARY
Perform mechanical assembly operations to produce compressors and other subassemblies at required quality standards while achieving maximum efficiency.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Includes the following, but other duties may be assigned:
-Assemble units using standard hand and power tools to include air-powered tools by reading from schematics, drawings and diagrams.
-Communicate effectively to their immediate supervisor the status of needed parts to produce units.
-Perform co-worker’s job functions during absences within the department.
-Maintain work environment in accordance with Lean 5S standards and perform tasks in accordance with company safety standards.
-Maintain personal conduct within the guidelines of the employee handbook.
-Use any specialized tooling that is required in respective area. Complete any necessary certifications if required to do so.
Heavy lifting (up to fifty (50) pounds without assistance) may be required.
Successful applicants will be able to maintain a working knowledge of workmanship standards as well as the ISO quality system and utilize these practices in everyday activity.
